National Hotel Furniture Liquidators

National Hotel Furniture Liquidators is a very large company. It seems to target, like Universal Hotel Liquidators, consumers looking to buy furniture for commercial uses.  It also seems that they try to market people wanting to purchase a larger quantity of furniture.  It still provides service and furniture for residential consumers, and people trying to purchase one or two pieces of furniture, but I would recommend going elsewhere if those are your interests. Here is the stated goal of the company:

At National Hotel Liquidators, our goal is to provide flexible solutions and maximize asset recovery through our professional liquidations.

National Hotel Furniture Liquidators also claim to be able to take care of your installation needs. I believe this is true.

National Hotel Liquidators was founded in 1996 in Colorado.  They provide many different types of products. Some of the specified products are bed spreads, pillows, draperies, carpet, bath fixtures, doors, locks, telephones, soap, antiques,  tables, chairs, dishes, white boards, ball room carpet, chandeliers, furniture for lobbies, restaurants, and meeting rooms.

I also think that it is great that this company donates to many charities. These include

Step 13
Volunteers of America
Goodwill Industries
Center for Work Education and Employment
Boys and Girls Clubs of America

All in all, National Hotel Furniture Liquidators is a very large company, geared towards commercial sales. I would recommend going elsewhere to purchase residential furniture.

Universal Hotel Liquidators: Furniture Liquidators

Universal Hotel Liquidators seems to also be a very well run company.  As far as furniture liquidators go, they seem to be at the top of the pack.  Universal hotel liquidators is more based on the east coast than the previous companies, and has much greater business along it.  It is also more geared to furniture for commercial businesses, hotels, and motels. They also try to market towards college students, apartment tenets, studio renters, and homeowners, but it appears to me that isn't their main source of business.

Universal Hotel liquidators claims to always have a large amount of furniture in stock at all times, and to have very low prices. From looking through their information, I would say that both of these statements are correct. They are very good furniture liquidators, and have much to sell to companies and hotels across the east coast. They could also be good for residential uses, but i would recommend going to another company that specializes in residential furniture liquidation for that. Universal Hotel Liquidators specializes in the sales of armories, bed sets, chairs, couches, desks, dressers, tables, and tv stands.

Here are a few pitches from their website:

"A Word about our Incredible Prices!

UHL is able to provide such exceptional prices (as much as 80 percent off the original price) because it obtains goods from hotels and businesses liquidating their current furniture products to make room for something new.

A Word about our Quality Furnishings!

Since hotels take remarkably good care of their furniture and sell it to wholesalers like us after just five years or so, the quality of our goods is not compromised by the price! We also purchase factory direct furniture that you can buy absolutely brand new from our showroom!"

These claims seem to be a little bit inflated but still true. I would recommend going to Universal Hotel Liquidators for furniture liquidation if you own a company, hotel or motel. I would recommend finding another furniture liquidator if you are wanting to buy furniture for residential purposes.

Hotel Surplus Outlet furniture liquidators

Hotel Surplus Outlet is based out of Van Nuys, California. This company resells goods. They resell hotel furniture, new overstock furnishings, decorator goods, and lodging items.

Here is a list of the categories of Hotel Surplus Outlet- Furniture Liquidators.

-deals
-new furniture
-armoires and dressers
-bedroom packages
-chairs and seating
-desks
-tables, including dining tables
-sofas and love seats
-lamps ad lighting
-TV
-refrigerators
-other appliances
-headboards and nightstands
-mattresses
-mirrors, art and decor

From what I can see they have a thorough list of sales in each of these categories. I especially thought the new furniture section was superb.

As far as furniture liquidators go, Hotel Surplus Outlet seems to be very stellar.  Some of their statements about themselves are:

-We have a large client base of loyal customers who visit us often in their quest for the latest bargains.
-The outlet has been featured by Alan Mendelson and Lisa Sigell of KCAL 9 television, along with Rick Romero of KABC's Eyewitness News. We have also been featured in stories which have appeared on KNBC, KCBS, KTTV and KCOP Television.
-Because hotel furniture is built to commercial construction standards, it features higher levels of quality, workmanship and durability than most typical home furnishings. Most of this furniture is in great shape, but we get it because it does not fit the hotel's future needs.

I think that in comparison to other furniture liquidators, Hotel Surplus Outlet does very well. I would put them at the top of the companies.  The only company that I would possibly place in front of Hotel Surplus Outlet is Furniture Outlet Restoration and Liquidation.

Overstock Furniture and Furniture Liquidation

Overstock is a very respectable website. They are very popular, so I expect their furniture and furniture liquidation department is very trustworthy.  In this post I will be outlining some of the goals stated on overstock's website about furniture liquidation and how I feel their company stacks up against the rest.

Overstock seems to be a very inexpensive company, where you can find great deals on nearly everything, including furniture liquidators.  They claim that "You can save from 35-75% on closeouts, clearance items, manufacturers closeouts, or returned furniture."  I believe this statement and I think overstock is a quality company.

Overstock claims to update their content on furniture liquidation regularly and to provide huge savings for customers.

Just from looking through some of their products and sales, I think the prices are very reasonable.

The only possible red flag with overstock furniture liquidators is that all sales are final. They do not provide refunds or exchanges.  This could mean that you might get ripped off with some bad quality products, but I think that overstock is a trustworthy enough company that you should not have to worry about that.

All in all, in my opinion, you can find some great deals in overstock's section on furniture liquidation. The only possible bad side could be the quality of the items sold, but you should not worry about this. Overstock is a reliable company.

Thanks for reading about overstock furniture liquidators!
